The gas point is a CNG refueling station, a subsidy of M/S “THE CHERAGS” situated at Lahore-Sheikhupura Road. We are basically marketing concern with vide ranging business activities, which include but are not limited to: The Rice Stockiest, Real estate developers and consultants, general service providers etc. However, we have now decided to venture in CNG business. Our decision is inspired by the a number of reasons, some of these are mentioned below:

a. Pakistan spends about $2.5 Billion annually on import of oil and oil products, by using natural gas as an alternate fuel; substantial reduction on oil import bill can be achieved.

b. The establishment of CNG industry has brought in $50 million investment as well as employment to thousands of people.

c. Given the country’s good gas resource base, the impact of CNG use on the gas supply is minimal e.g 100,000 CNG cars will require 15 million cubic feet of gas per day, which is only 0.75 % of the country’s present gas supplies.

d. CNG is also considered to be environment friendly as it is lead free fuel and its ration with carbon monoxide emission of patrol is 1 : 10.

e. To date over 90 CNG fueling stations have become operational and another hundred are under construction in more than fifteen cities of Pakistan.

Keeping in view above mentioned advantages, we decided to expanded CNG advantages nation wide for better and economical service to the general public. Thus keeping in line with government policy to promote natural gas as an alternate fuel, we have been granted licence to install CNG filling station.
